The Augsburg Women’s Soccer team has been on a tear as of late, winning their last four games and securing nine big points in the MIAC.

Throughout their four-game winning streak, the Auggie’s have amassed 13 goals while shutting out their opponents. Nine different Auggie’s have put one in the back of the net, while MIAC Player of the Year favorite Ashley St. Aubin has scored in every game. They have outshot the other teams 86-31, while putting 52 of those shots on net compared to 15 for their foes.

The first game was a MIAC contest at Gustavus. Augsburg scored two goals early in the first half and fought of a vicious second half attack from the Gusties to secure the 2-0 win. Emily Chapman had nine saves on the night.

The Auggie’s then traveled to River Falls and completely dominated the Falcons 6-0. Six different Auggie’s made it into the score sheet on the night.

The third game was at Hamline, and again the Auggie’s put together a dominant performance against the Pipers, winning 4-0. This time four different Auggie’s scored.

The final game against Macalaster at home was not as close as the score showed, but the Auggie’s won 1-0 on the night. St. Aubin scored the lone goal.

Augsburg travels to Carelton on Saturday then to Northwestern on Wednesday.
