Hello, my name is Adrian Hayden. I am a third-year student at Augsburg who is majoring in environmental studies. I have always had an interest in art and have explored a variety of different mediums to create it. Mediums that I tend to favor are oil paints, clays, and fibers. I enjoy making pieces that are functional, and to do so, I typically use clay and fibers. I tend to take really long to finish paintings, so I only have a few, but this year I plan to put more time into producing paintings. Taking art classes, especially in college, has made me realize I tend to take more of an abstract approach to my art. I enjoy being able to create pieces that might only really make sense to me and can be perceived in all sorts of ways by other people.
