Joe Rydel, Sports Editor

Jada Lewis stole the show at the MIAC Championships last Saturday as she ran to a conference title in the 60-meter dash and ran a personal best in the 200-meter dash with a time of 26.15. Lewis has been a constant among the conference elite this season for the Auggies, setting personal bests and earning championships.
Nikaylah Woody and teammate Carissa Ellison also competed in the 200-meter dash and came in right behind the top finishers with times of 27.33 and 28.10. The 4×200 relay team of Ellison, Woody, Lewis and Christabelle Mulcahy (above left) finished in third place with a season best time of 1:48.13.
Julia Charron competed in the triple jump for Augsburg with a jump of 9.99 meters. This was another season best for the Auggies and was good for a 12th-place finish among the conference’s  jumpers. In the other field event, Kenna Bannister chalked up a weight throw of 10.94 meters.
With momentum building and many personal bests on the day, the Auggies look to continue strong performances during the outdoor season.
