What to Watch For

Fall sports are in full swing. Be sure to get out and show your support for the Auggie sports teams!

Men’s Soccer: The men’s soccer team will try to rebound from a rough five-game stretch when they host UW-Platteville on Oct. 5 and Nebraska Wesleyan University on Oct. 6. They resume conference play against St. Olaf in Northfield on Oct. 12.

Women’s Soccer: The women’s soccer team hopes to continue their hot start to conference play as they hit the road, playing games at St. Catherine on Oct. 5, at Macalester on Oct. 9 and at St. Olaf on Oct. 12.

Men’s and Women’s Cross Country: Both teams will be competing in the St. Catherine University Invitational in St. Paul on Oct. 5.

Volleyball: The 11th ranked volleyball team has a busy week ahead, starting with a huge game on the road against 7th ranked Saint Benedict on Oct. 5, followed by a home game against Hamline on Oct. 9. They then play an away game against UW-River Falls on Oct. 11 and a home game against Stevens Institute of Technology on Oct. 12.

Men’s Golf: The men’s golf team finishes their season with the MIAC Championships at the Ridges at Sand Creek in Jordan on Oct. 5-7.

Football: The football team will take a trip to Collegeville to play 4th ranked Saint John’s on Oct. 5, where they hope to beat the Johnnies for the first time since 2012 and end their three-game losing streak. They will follow that with a home game against 17th ranked St. Thomas on Oct. 12.
