LOYALTY. 2:31-3:05.

We, you, I
May be the Love someone needs
But
We
Deserve the Love we need.

The Love we’ve traced and drawn on
Maps,
Different routes that all lead to Home.
The Love we’ve been wisely collecting
In glass jars,
Little fireflies that illuminate through the darkness.
The Love we’ve made recipes for,
Measuring what is needed and how much.
And,
Sometimes changing the recipe to make
Enough.

I deserve all the Love I need.

I deserve the kind of Love where our words
Are embroider together like a Paj Ntaub.
I deserve the kind of Love where you hold
Me in your palms,
Gently, firmly holding onto me as if I was a cosmic wish.
I deserve the kind of Love where you pray
To the Universe,
Hoping I am protected by the magic,
Blessings of the Angels and Ancestors.

We, you, I
May be the Love someone needs
But
We
Deserve the Love we need.
