Poem “right my wrongs”

Stacy Cardenas, contributor

need to feel what’s inside of me

where am i supposed to be

losing my sense of love

it’s hurting me

there’s too much in life to waste on

greed

minds a smoky gray it’s too

dark to see

please don’t leave it will

kill my ease

right my wrongs before

it’s too late

one day soon this is a calling

from fate

This is my most recent poem. I had a very bad week not too long ago, and it made me reflect on my past tendencies. The way I’d negatively express myself which was hurting those around me, so I tried to make some good out of the bad. This poem is meant to be paired with the instrumental song Lounge by Casein. Hopefully, I’ll make it into a song for myself one day.
