Hi, my name is Maija, and I’m from Cloquet, Minnesota. I’m a first-year at Augsburg and a social work major. Art is a safe space of mine, and I believe creating is what makes the human experience. I’m still finding my identity as an artist, but I like having fun with the process of the things I make and letting ideas flow as they come. I’d describe my work as bright, colorful, and whimsical. Creating brings me purpose and joy!
