From one wing to another,

By embracing a new height, 

There is an Auggie, 

An Eagle that was soon taking flight. 

It is okay to be the one, 

Who finds it hard to leave the nest, 

But tis better to take a risk, 

Rather than hide behind the rest.

They bring you opportunities, 

They encourage you to do your best, 

They help you make friends, 

They bring you to success. 

I see an Auggie one day, 

And ask him ‘What do I do?’

The Auggie looks down at me, 

It says ‘Believe in you.’

The Auggie has faith,

The Auggie has truth,

The Auggie has advice,

Even in youth.

The Auggie shows love not despise,

Generosity not greed, 

The Auggie will guide you, 

Help you in need.

The Auggie will be here, 

It will be your best friend, 

The Auggie will live one, 

Up until the very end. 

So, no matter who you are, 

No matter what you see, 

The Auggie will help you,

Just like it helped me.
