Artist Spotlight: Minh Thu Duong

Back in elementary school, I used to be really good at mimicking artworks, which landed me into the designated role of “illustrator” for our class projects (really, I was more of a counterfeiter — but regardless); nowadays, I am still sometimes stuck in that role, but at least there are actual aspiring artists who can take on the challenge instead. Yeah, I just draw for fun, mainly to illustrate characters in my writing or to make short comics. Currently, I’m working on using bolder colors, line art, full-bodies and simplifying my art style. And finally, as you can see, my drawings are especially anime-inspired. I may branch away from that, I may not. Who knows.
