The Augsburg women’s lacrosse team (6-3, 3-2 conf.) heads into a weekend where they will host two conference foes at Edor Nelson Field, Loras College on Saturday at 2 p.m. and Wartburg College on Sunday at 11 a.m.

After dropping two straight conference games by a combined total of four goals to Illinois Institute of Technology (8 -1, 5-0 conf.) and Aurora University (4-5, 3-1 conf.), the Auggies bounced back with a huge 16-10 conference win on Sunday, a win which saw ten different Auggies score.

Junior Helena Nguyen looks to keep adding to her impressive goal total, which currently sits at 27 for the season. Not far behind Nguyen is junior Delaney Everett with 26 goals of her own. Everett has also seen success as a playmaker with nine assists on the year, bringing her point total up to an impressive 35, which is good for fourth-best in the MWLC.

Senior Dezera Sieracki and sophomore Izzy Snow are currently tied for fourth- best in the conference in assists, each with 11. If victorious this weekend in their games, the Auggies should find themselves among the top five teams in the MWLC with a strong conference record of 5-2.
